Chris is a Brisbane food photographer whose style is combination of his deep and passionate understanding of food. Whether cooking, eating, styling or photographing food - he does it with passion.

A former professional chef, Chris worked in kitchens across Europe, North America and Australia while also studying professional photography at university before marrying his two passions. Over the past fifteen years, he has honed his craft shooting for restaurants, food producers, magazines and cookbooks.

Chris now has a custom natural light studio totally designed around shooting food.  The studio boasts a fully equipped kitchen, including a gas stove, barbeque, and convection oven. Additionally, clients have access to an extensive range of props, backgrounds and shooting surfaces.

Most people think that a camera is just a camera, but that’s not entirely true when is comes to photographing food.  Chris uses full-frame Canon 5D Mark IIIs and Canon L-series lenses. The resolution of the cameras is superb for the purpose of food photography.
